Piramīdu teksti

Vissenākie līdz mūsdienām saglabājušies senēģiptiešu rakstu avoti no Vecās valsts laikiem, kas stāsta par seno ēģiptiešu reliģiskajiem priekšstatiem - Ozīrisa kultu, uzieti V dinastijas pēdējā faraona Unasa piramīdā, kā arī citās V un VI dinastijas faraonu piramīdās. 

Atrašana un izpēte. Pašu pirmo Piramīdu tekstu uzgāja Maspero 1880.gadā faraona Pepi I kapenē. Tie ir Vecās valsts laika hieroglifiskie teksti, kuri atrasti iegravēti uz sienām agrīno Senās Ēģiptes piramīdu kapeņu iekšpusē Sakārā. Tie bijuši gan apglabāšanas kamerās, gan arī vestibilos un gaiteņos. Tos datē apmēram ar V un VI dinastijas laiku, t.i. ar 2350.–2175.g.pmē. Tekstu nebija nevienā no Gīzas piramīdām, kā arī agrīnajās Sakāras piramīdās. Senākie teksti tika atrasti faraona Unasa piramīdā ap 2350.g.pmē. pašās V dinastijas beigās. Tālāk šie teksti ir visās V un VI dinastijas piramīdās, piemēram, Teti, Pepi I, Merenra, un Pepi II piramīdās. Tādi teksti atrasti arī ķēniņieņu un augstmaņu kapenēs.

Tekstu vecums. Tie ir vissenākie senēģiptiešu rakstu avoti un vieni no senākajiem rakstiem uz Zemes. Pašu “Piramīdu tekstu” saturs ir vēl daudz vecāks - ar lielu ticamības pakāpi var uzskatīt, ka teksti tapuši vēl agrāk – ap 3000.g.pmē. 

Vidējās valsts laikā Piramīdu teksti tika papildināti ar uzrakstiem sarkofāgu iekšpusē – tie iegva Sarkofāgu tekstu nosaukumu. Pieļauj, ka sākotnēji “Piramīdu teksti” bija pierakstīti uz papirusa un nolikti piramīdās, bet dažādu iemeslu dēļ nav saglabājušies līdz mūsdienām – vai nu tos paņēma laupītāji vai tie vienkārši tika iznīcināti.

Tulkojums. Pirmo pilno tulkojumu kādā citā valodā (angliski!) veicis Samuels Merkers 1952.gadā. Merkera tulkojumam sekoja R.O.Faulknera tulkojums 1969.gadā, kurš šodien arī tiek atzīts par standartu.

Saturs. Šie uzraksti ir buramvārdi, kuru mērķis ir sargāt mirušos valdniekus vai valdnieces to ceļojumā uz mirušo valstību kā arī sagatavot tos sagaidāmajam. Tādējādi tie ir ļoti sarežģītu instrukciju un aprakstu sakopojums. Arī vēlākie „Sarkofāgu teksti” un „Mirušo grāmata” būtībā runā par to pašu – kā bez grūtībām pāriet mirušo pasaulē, kā „atdzimt” pēcnāves eksistencē. Buramvārdi palīdzēs aizsargāties pret daudzajām briesmām šai ceļā.
Lai gan paši agrākie šo tekstu piemēri nāk no V dinastijas beigām, tie satur tādus materiālus kas attiecas uz Pirmsinastiskā perioda mirušo glabāšanas praksi, tātad vēl pirms 3100.g.pmē. Teksti atspoguļo ticību dvēseles aiziešanai astrālajā pasaulē pēc nāves un dzīvošanu piepolāro zvaigžņu apgabalā.

Tekstu autors. Uzskata, ka tas nebija Unass un tā priesteri, bet tam ir dievišķais autors – Tots. Tota kultūras centrs atradās Hemenu (vēlākā Hermopole), kurā atrasta lielākā apbedīšanas tekstu daļa. „Pirmīdu teksti” tika papildināti un pārveidoti tādejādi radot „Sarkofāgu tekstus,”  bet pēcāk tie izvērtās par „Dienā izejamo grāmatu,” kas vairāk pazīstama ar nosaukumu „Mirušo grāmata.”

Piramīdu teksti un Anubiss. Piramīdu teksti ir senākie zināmie teksti, kuri piemin Anubisu. Tajos viņš ir pieminēts saistībā ar faraona apbedīšanu. V dinastijas faraona Unasa piramīdu tekstos Anubiss tiek asociēts ar „Hora aci,” kas pavada mirušos, palīdzot viņiem atrast Ozīrisu.
